According to TomTom, their current reception area is too "cold", business-like and outdated. We felt compelled to change this. Not only by designing a "piece of furniture", but rather addressing the entire lobby area, we created consistency. A visit becomes an experience for the user. From the moment he enters the building, the user is welcomed. A strong impression is left, which is representative for a company.
An important starting point for TomTom was the opportunity to showcase their products. We resolved this by designing a media wall with digital screens. The user can see the TomTom products with ease. The screens make the user curious, allowing them to be drawn towards the products. This is an important line of sight from the waiting room which breaks the boring waiting time.
